■3rd Person POV■

The bird is chirping, the light start seeping through the small gap of the curtain. (H/c) hair tied as the owner moves around preparing breakfast for two.

Y/N places two plates on the table before returning to check on the eggs on the pan. The smells of toasts and eggs, woke a certain handsome model.

Kise Ryouta opens his eyes and walks to the bathroom to wash up. He rubs his eyes and walks to the dining room when he sees Y/N places the eggs on the plates.

Y/N : ah, good morning Ryou kun

Y/N smiles at her childhood friends, and Kise replies while sitting on his side of the table, using towel to dry his hair

Kise: morning Y/N , *yawns*

Y/N sits on her side of the table and the two eats together.

Y/N and Kise are childhood friends, they've been together since they were a baby.

This is Kise's apartment. After graduated from college, Kise pursue his modeling careers along with playing for a basketball team vorpals swords with the rest of generation of miracles and Kagami.

Kise purchases a two bedroom apartment and then invited Y/N to live with him knowing that her campus is in the same city.

Kise watches as Y/N wash the plates and comes to help.

Kise: Y/N you're always early to get ready...

Y/N: well... what can I doo, all of my class are morning classes this semester...

Y/N laughs a little, Y/N is a diligent girl and smart as well. But she's not someone who's stood up a lot. But Kise like being around her because she's so honest and knows about all of his flaws.
Kise thinks of her as a sister. Though, the other party doesn't think the same.

Y/N: um, you better get ready for work Ryou kun... I'm leaving first...

Y/N is wearing her shoes while Kise walks behind her

Kise: Y/N...

Y/N hmm a yes while tying her shoes.

Kise: I think I will ask Kinana out today

Her movement stops for a sec and she gulps down the nothingness inside her throat.

Y/N stands up and take a deep breath before turning around and shows Kise her smile.

Y/N: that's great Ryou kun... I'm sure it'll go smoothly...

Ryou: we will have photoshoot together so I think today's the day...

Y/N smiles at her bestfriend showing how supportive she is.

Y/N: do your best okay, with today's photoshoot... and with Kinana san...

Kise: you bet... be careful on your way Y/N

Y/N turns around still showing her smile and walk out of the door. She heads to the elevator and gets in, going to the lower ground.

Y/N walks to the bus stop and sit on the bench waiting for her bus. Kise's words replayed on her head.

"Kise : I will ask Kinana out"

Pain crept into her chest as her smile turns into a sad smile.

Y/N: you'll do fine... she will accept you... and I... will be happy for you... Ryou kun...

Y/N keeps her feelings for Kise hidden. If Kise thinks of her as a sibling, Y/N can't help but think of her as a man. In how kind he treated her all this time.

But she doesn't want Kise to be awkward around her, afraid that if he learnt about her feeling he will avoid her.

Y/N chooses to lost her first love, rather than losing her bestfriend.

■Kise's POV■

I park my car and walks in to the building where my photoshoot will be held.

I get in the elevator and press the button to the floor I'm heading to. The moment I walk out of the elevator I see a beautiful girl. Saimi Kinana, she's my partner for today's photoshoot.

She's very pretty and humble. We've been modeling together a couple of times and she act rather cutely when we're together. It's been a while since I was in a relationship and I'm pretty attracted to this girl.

Kinana: ah, ryouta kun, good morning~

Kise: morning Kinana chan~

Kinana comes to me and hugs my arm. She's very feminine, she reminds me of Y/N sometimes. But Kinana is more sociable while Y/N is a bit on the shy side.

Kinana: I'm looking forward to our photo session...

The photo session finally start, we're taking photos for a new clothing brand. After we're done, I'm talking with my manager, then I heard Kinana's voice.

Kinana: Ryouta kun, can I talk to you for a moment...

Kise: oh sure

I excuse myself and go with Kinana to the balcony on this floor. There suddenly before I decided to ask her out.

Kinana: Ryouta kun... I... please go out with me... I like Ryouta kun...

Whoa, just like what Y/N said... things went smoothly...

Kise: haha, well, okay... I'm about to ask you to go out with me too...

She looks shy, how adorable. Wait until Y/N hear about this.

I have to treat Y/N to celebrate the good day...

■3rd Person POV■

Y/N unconsciously spent too much time in the library. She was trying to shoo some thoughts away from her mind. Y/N walk back to the apartment and stops by to buy some milk at the convenience store.

When she's on the cashier, her eyes caught a certain magazine on the magazine stalls. There, on the cover is Kise and Kinana from their photoshoot last month. The two looks good together.

Y/N's heart clenches but she shooks her head internally. She picks up her milks and head back.

Y/N puts the pass lock of the door and walks in, she was surprised when suddenly her body is engulfed in warmth.

Kise: aah, what took you so long Y/N??

Kise is wrapping his arms around Y/N's smaller frame. This is one of the thing that could be dangerous for Y/N as Kise likes to hugs her sometimes.

Y/N: a- um Ryou kun.... I was studying.. and stopped by the convenience store... w-what is it?

Kise : let's eat outside

Y/N sees as Kise beams a smile at her

Y/N: you look happy, what's the occasion?

Y/N who's smiling at her silly childhood friend soon got her heart teared by the news Kise shares with her.

Kise: hehe, I'm going out with Kinana  tehee

Y/N's breath hitches and she gulps down. She force a smile on her face and congratulate Kise.

Y/N: congratulations Ryou kun... I knew... She will accept you...

Kise: haha, she confessed first though... well, enough with the chit chat... let's eat outside...

Y/N heart sunk seeing how happy Kise, all of these years being friends with the handsome model and having a one sided love for him, Y/N always manage to keep her feelings in check. But after living with him for a year, it's getting harder to do that.

Y/N :ah... Ryou kun... I'm sorry... I already eat before I go home...

Kise: hee? Whaat? Y/N how could you... well what about we grab some snacks?

Y/N wants to get in her room roght away, but she doesn't want Kise to suspect a thing.

Y/N: I'm sorry Ryou kun... actually... I'm not feeling well... I'm a bit nauseous...

Kise: are you ill? Should we go to the hospi-

Y/N: n-no no... no need... I think... I just need to rest... hihi, I'm sorry...

Kise pushes her gently to her room

Kise: then you sleep right away, tomorrow I'll be in charge with breakfast...

Y/N turns around and looks at the genuinely worried Kise. She feels bad for lying, but it's better then she breaks down in front of him. Before closing the door, Y/N calls Kise.

Y/N: Ryou kun...

Kise looks at her

Kise: hmm? Need anything?

Y/N smiles warmly at Kise

Y/N : I'm... happy for you...

Kise beams a smile and thanked Y/N. Y/N closes the door and leans back on it. She looks down staring at the floor and a sad smile now forming in her face.

Y/N: yes... I... should be happy for him...

But then Y/N crouch down and hugs her knees. Her heart hurt so much, though it's not the first time she saw Kise has a girlfriend, this time her heart hurt the most.

Burying her feelings deep...

Closing her heart...

Hiding her sadness...

Y/N fills her mind with the words...

"I will be happy for you"
